Last Thursday we had a reception and technology demo at Seneca's Centre for Development of Open Technology. On display were open source research and academic projects that were completed during the past year, including lots of the Mozilla stuff our students have been doing.
It was great to be able to celebrate this work and welcome Mozilla, the open source community, Ontario technology companies, educational institutions from across the province, and government and other granting agencies.
As part of the event I gave a short speech on Seneca's open source work with partners like Mozilla. Thanks to Andrew, you can watch it via GoogleVideo.
P.S. Wordpress, why won't you let me embed this video? Shame on you!
