Greg Wilson wrote to share the good news that their "CS-1 in Python" book, called "Practical Programming", is out and ready to buy.
I've been spending a lot of time in Python lately, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm also impressed with how fast it is. When I was a student learning to start programming, I wish I'd had this language and a book like this.
