These two little girls of ours stop me dead in my tracks just about every day. Tonight, as we went for a walk after dinner, and they pleaded with me to give them "challenges," to see if they could run faster than me, my youngest turned to me and said:
"Dad, I'm not sure I can do this. I'm just going to try my best."
There are very few other lessons worth learning in life. The one I'm learning right now is that my daughters will soon be faster than me, and not only at running. I'm going to try and do my best.
