Today is the fifth birthday of my eldest daughter, and the anniversary of the beginning of my time as an adult. I was reflecting today that she has accomplished more in the past five years than I will in any of my subsequent half-decades. I'm humbled by her presence in my life, and blessed to be a part of hers. They say that you have to enjoy these years, that your children grow up so quickly. Five years have come and gone, and every day had 24 hours. I wouldn't have it any other way, and I'm looking forward to many more five year milestones. Thank-you for my little girl, and the chance to truly be a man, a father, and a friend.
