I don't use an rss aggregator to read all the blogs I follow (some of them are planets, so clearly I do a bit...). I don't like them for a number of reasons, and here's one more:
Me - "Did you see that video that I posted yesterday?"
Wife - "No, I thought that post seemed strange and missing something"
Me - "Did you see that book I linked directly in the page?"
Wife - "No, what's going on?"
I'll tell you what's going on, RSS sucks. Where are my embedded objects? You think you can strip them out and pretend like we're cool? Pathetic. "XML will save the world!" is such a joke, when simple XML snippets get lifted right out from the middle.
